Square D = A+ product!

I have been using Square D products for many years now and have yet to have an issue with any of them. Their products are built to last and no shortcuts are taken. This weatherproof clear cover was easy to install and upon completion has great functionality and ease of use.

Great cover

This cover protects your outdoor utility outlet of choice from all the elements in turn extending the life of the outlet. This works well while the outlet is not in use as normal such as, home improvement/ new project builds. I have used other covers in the past but none have been as durable as this product.

Keeps Water Out!!!

This Weatherproof outlet definitely keeps the water out. We've been getting quite a bit of rain in the past few weeks and each time I check the outlet, it's always dry inside. We had a bad storm a few days ago and it came down heavy and the outlet was still dry. I especially like how it comes with a cover for both round outlets and square outlets. They fit perfectly. I checked both the square and the round electrical outlets, and they both stayed dry. They are easy to open and close. I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs to install a waterproof outdoor outlet.

weatherproof gang box

This is an extra duty weatherproof gang box for outdoor receptacles. It is rather large at 2 3/4 inch deep. It has a plastic hinge top with a metal dowel holding the two pieces together. There are two holes in the bottom for your plugged in cord to hang out. This allows the cover to be completely closed while items are plugged in. It also complies with NEC section 406.9 (B) (1), new CSA C22.2 No. 42.1-00 so it should pass all inspections when installed properly.

Works as expected, easy install, looks nice

This weatherproof outlet cover works great, and exactly as expected. It was easy to install with an outdoor outlet and it provides good protection while also looking nice and well finished. The hinge opens and closes nicely. Overall very happy with this.
